Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. She moved from her home in Minnesota to California when she met her husband of now 40 years. They lived in the Bay Area for 30 years and now split their time between the Bay area and San Diego. They have two children and four grandchildren.
